Set it and forget it. Acorns is dollar cost averaging (DCA) at its best. Acorns is as automated as you can get when it comes to an investing platform. Acorns is considered to be a micro and robo financial services company. When I opened my Acorns account, I picked moderately aggressive for my risk tolerance out of the five choices given. Every week Acorns pulls the money I've allocated from my bank and invests between the same six pre-selected index funds or ETFs. The funds earn dividends on a monthly or quarterly basis and get automatically reinvested.

Acorns has been an automated way to invest without even giving it a second thought. It has allowed me to put away thousands of dollars without even realizing it, and my money is always growing! They also offer investment cashback if you purchase certain products!

These has been an amazing way to save some money. I'm on a fixed income and it's a wonderful thing checking my acorns account and it's been working hard making me money in those hard times where I'm pinching pennies.
