LNER Perks is one of the better rail loyalty schemes I’ve used. Signing up is quick, and you earn 2% back in Perks credit on every LNER ticket you buy. The credit builds up faster than you’d expect, especially if you travel regularly on the East Coast route. The app is straightforward and shows your upcoming journeys, points balance, and any special offers. I’ve found the rewards genuinely useful — you can put the credit towards onboard food and drink or save it up for future perks. The £10 welcome bonus after your first journey is a nice boost and arrives automatically once the trip is completed. Overall, LNER Perks is simple, reliable, and actually gives you something back for travel you’d be doing anyway. Worth joining if you use LNER even a couple of times a year.
