I personally love our 2023 Tesla Model Y. For our regular leisure driving, we only need to charge it about once a week. We’ve taken just one long trip so far, which required two charging stops—one on the four‑hour drive down and another on the four‑hour return a few days later. I’d only consider trading it in for another Tesla, if Tesla released significantly better battery technology. Maintenance has been minimal, limited to tires and cabin air filter. There have been no other costs, and it hasn’t made any noticeable impact on our electric bill.
